The rebuilding project for Kołobrzeg Town Hall is a response to an analysis of the urban conditions and the need to define an important public municipal space. “Municipal” in the sense of “for the city” was how this definition was to be reinterpreted in the architectural concept. The assumptions consisted of three buildings arranged in an agreeable public space. Geometry of its plan composition results from the historic layout. Each of the buildings has been assigned a different function. The arrangement of the objects, their form and the materials used refer to the main objectives of contemporary municipal office buildings, such as stability, modernity and transparency.
